In 2017, during a serendipitous visit to Bandhavgarh, Akshay, known for his keen eye as a street and baby photographer, stumbled upon the mesmerising world of wildlife photography. It was here, amidst the ancient trees and untamed landscapes, that he discovered a profound connection to nature’s unfiltered authenticity.
The genesis of Into The Wild sprang from this profound realization—a yearning to detach from the digital cacophony and embrace the simple, elemental gifts of the natural world. It’s about embracing a minimalist ethos, shedding the burdens of modern life and surrendering to the raw beauty of existence. Akshay’s journey through the realm of wildlife photography illuminated the challenges inherent in planning such immersive experiences. From orchestrating skilled guides and drivers to tracking the movements of elusive creatures like tigers, the complexities were manifold. Yet, each hurdle only fueled his resolve to demystify the process, empowering fellow enthusiasts to embark on their own transformative journeys.
For over seven years, Akshay has cultivated a robust network of seasoned professionals—hotels, guides, mentors and photographers—instilling Into The Wild with the expertise needed to curate bespoke adventures tailored to every wildlife seeker’s desires.
Driven by a deep-seated passion for wildlife, Akshay delivered his inaugural TEDx talk on the theme of Discovery, drawing poignant parallels between the quest for self-discovery and the exhilarating pursuit of encountering a tiger in the jungle.
